Sushi MAHANA is an intimate omakase counter in North Vancouver led by owner and head chef Yuki Aida, serving a seasonal, farm-to-table tasting menu in the spirit of omotenashi, Japanese hospitality.
What I built
- A calm, minimal site that matches the precision of the food, with plenty of room for photography.
- An Experience section explaining the omakase format, the price and the sake and cocktail pairings.
- A dedicated Policy page, since the restaurant is reservation-only with a 48-hour cancellation window, so guests know what to expect before they book.
- A CMS-driven news area and newsletter signup for special events, plus a site-wide notice bar for time-sensitive updates.
Outcome
A site that sets expectations for a high-end experience before guests arrive and makes booking straightforward.
