Old Town Bakery has been baking from scratch in historic downtown Ladysmith since 2002, in a building that has been home to a bakery since 1932. It’s best known for its cinnamon buns, with nine flavours made daily. It’s part of Old Town Collective.
What I built
- A nostalgic, community-first site (“Our Secret Ingredient Is Love”) built around what’s baked daily.
- Online ordering, gift cards and a custom cakes page for pre-orders and consultations.
- Space for seasonal campaigns such as Easter and holiday gingerbread, plus a recipes section.
- Careers, newsletter and contact pages that share components with the rest of the collective’s sites.
Outcome
A modern storefront for a small-town bakery with deep roots, with seasonal pushes that are easy for the owners to run themselves.
