Wild Poppy Market is a gluten-free bakery and café in Ladysmith, BC, making bowls, salads, sandwiches and treats in house every day. The tagline: “Guilty pleasures. Gluten free.” It’s part of Old Town Collective.
What I built
- A warm, bright site focused on the menu and the daily grab-and-go case.
- Online ordering, gift cards (through Ackroo) and seasonal custom cake pre-orders.
- A CMS-driven recipe blog that gives regulars a reason to come back and helps the café show up in search.
- Monthly newsletter signup, with links across to sister businesses in the collective.
Outcome
A small café site that pulls its weight: it takes orders, promotes seasonal items and builds a community around the brand.
